According to the luxury car maker, the Spectre represents its third generation of new cars since BMW reintroduced the brand in 2003, as well as heralding an all-electric era after a succession of V12 petrol engines. The style is based on the two-door, four-seat Phantom Coupé, although it’s larger in every dimension, being an “imperious” 5,453mm long, 2,080mm wide and 1,559mm tall. It has electric motors front and rear, giving four-wheel drive. However, some sources have suggested at least £1 million as a starting point, while one of the monthly specialist car magazines posited $2 million USD.
